show time...

I did the math (confirmed by my kallah teacher) and the date i have to do my hefsek taharah has been marked in my calendar for weeks. Today I flipped my calendar to the new week (and moved my clocks ahead) and realized it's THIS week!

So I've started to review my checklist and notes to make sure it goes as smoothly as possible.

I've been waiting for this for many years. These next days will probably feel like they are dragging on forever.. I just hope I don't forget anything.

Hashem, I am here...

You can do it, Talia! Welcome to the world of T"H and marriage, and all that entails! May you always enjoy the blessings of an observant life, and skate easily over the bumpy parts.

Talia, how wonderful! I got a little flip in my tummy for you! Not observing t'h when I got married meant I didn't go to the mikvah before our wedding, and I've always missed that. Now I get to share it vicariously through you :) I triple Desde's blessings!

Thank you! It's really exciting... may you all be blessed with nachas, health, and happiness in your marriages and families. Thank you so much for all the help and support.

I'm already obsessing over what to bring to the mikveh oy! I hope it doesn't turn into what I did for my conversion (I tried to pack a bathtub into my bag ;) )

i practiced shaving tonight... wow.. decent razors make all the difference in the world! (it's been years since I carefully shaved my legs and these were still generic drug store brand but much better than what I normally use).

I really should practice flossing.... I didn't take very good care of my teeth for a while.. flossing is still not one of my favorite activites...
